Setting Up a New Game
I'm getting back into Ultima Online, offline rather, and I see that the latest version of the UO Client (7.0.4 or something) is too new for Razor. I installed the latest version from EA, obviously that didn't work, nor did the "classic" version because that is also too recent to use with Razor. So I installed off my original game CD, but that version is too old at 1.25. I can't find a way to manually update so I've just about run out of options. Any help would be great.

It used to be possible to patch up even the really old UO clients. Give this a try:
Locate your UO folder, then open the "verinfo" file with notepad (either right-click and "Open with..." or just run Notepad first and open the file from there).
Find the following number string:
207 239 134 110 8888
...and replace it with this one:
159.153.197.91 8888
Save the file, start patching and see if it works. In theory it should.
Note that the most recent UO client version currently supported by UOX3 is around 6.0.13.x, or maybe 6.0.14.0, though any in the 5.x.x-series should work fine (and maybe even better than the most recent one) - so make sure you stop patching (if the above method worked) at the version you want to use.

I changed the verinfo file as you instructed and it said that I was not up to date, but would not update the game.
However, I managed to get a semi-old version of Mondain's Legacy and now I have a new problem. I got into Trinsic once last night, then I quit out and started my UOX server up the next day. When I launched my UOX3 server, it said no map data was found.
I saw some other people had the same problem so I'll look into that, but I wanted to let you know about the first suggestion's results.
