When I try to log into my server, I get the following message:
The client could not connect to the game server. It must have been taken down. lease wait a few minutes and try again. I opened the server up with 'cmd'. Can anyone help? I was on my server just fine last night.

usually this indicates a problem with the IP of your client.
Double check the values in your UOx3.ini and your login.cfg in the UO directory.
Both should have an address of 127.0.0.1,2593, for those logging into a server on the same computer.
It's strange it worked once then didn't work after that. This error is almost always an IP conflict. It's usually something trivial too. I know, it is frusterating, we deal with it on our server about every fourth or fifth session (we are getting better). It's usually a missed number, misplaced period, or a wrong port.
