Default Worldfiles for UOX3 (v0.16 - 31st of October 2012)

EDIT - These are now out of date. A new concept called World Templates are included in UOX3 by default, and contains all that was originally contained in these worldfiles (and more).

These worldfiles contain basic decorations (incl. doors and signs) to all mainland Britannia towns and roads inbetween, plus Nujel'm, Moonglow, Serpents Hold, Maginicia, Occlo, Jhelom, Buccaneer's Den, Papua and Delucia. The decorations are located in the Felucca facet only.

To use, download and unzip/rar to the UOX3/SHARED/ folder, overwriting any existing files there. Note that this will also overwrite any existing worldfiles you may have, including characters and any items placed in your world either manually or by a spawner. Check out giwo's Character Viewer tool if you want to keep your existing characters while using this world file.

Hi,

question: Do i need to install this WorldFile if i installed "All-in-one-packet" ? Does it contain "more" things than installation ?

Yes. The all in one packet contains no decorations, just the basics to run UOx3 and set up your own shard.

The worldfile adds decorations, but not NPCs. (use the community spawn to add NPCs.)

On a second note (I know I haven't got the beta out yet..), if you have installed Stranf's Worldfile 2, then you do NOT need the worldfile. My worldfile contains identical decorations to everything and a little bit more than is offered in this download.

It's highly recommended that you download either this or my worldfile, since it can save you literally hours in setting up your own shard.

I've updated the first post with v0.12 of the default worldfiles, which now include decorations for Ocllo and Jhelom as well. Remaining towns in the original Britannia-map to decorate: Buccaneers Den and Wind

v0.13 is up Thanks to Fish for noticing that a lot of the lightradiuses in the first few towns I decorated were bugged. They are fixed now.

Realized I only ever put v0.16 of this in the UOX3.org downloads page, and never actually updated the sticky here in the forum! So... yeah.... Default Worldfiles v0.16 has hereby been released on the forum! 8 years late. But better late than never!
