Old School Wolrd Question(s)/Help Request (Spawn files)

I was successful all the way up to the spawn file in creating an old school version of UO. After reading some posts it appears the new items are crashing my old school version of the game.

My Intent: I want to play the old school version with my kids and a few friends. The days of tent vendors, x-roads, running from lichs and the basics. We’ve tried a few old school servers but they all have made ridiculous modifications that kill the old school feel.

My Questions:
  • Is there any chance someone has an older version of dfndata spawn? I have everything working correctly including the worldfiles. We just need a basic but comprehensive spawn file. I am not skilled enough or have a faction of the time required to do this manually.
  • If not would anyone be interested in helping me with the spawning of my world, for a reasonable fee of course.
  • Is there anyone else out there interested in a small, family, old school version (Pre-Tram) of UO? I am looking for parents’ w/kids and GM/Seer type players interested in a primarily co-operative game play (PVM/Raiding) with organized PVP events per community request.
I travel a lot for work and do this to spend time with my kids, nightly. I am currently in Arizona and willing to meet, phone or vent with anyone interested.

Are you currently hosting this setup at your home? I was thinking of getting two server styles setup, actually. One would be as close to the original OSI servers as possible (cira 1999). The other is somewhat a secret right now. It is something that I am dedicating the next few weeks towards... seriously.

I actually had a shard 7 or 8 years ago... 30 concurrent users. Ah, the good old days. Anywho, message me back if you want to collaborate.
