Hi

I have downloaded and copied the world files and dfn data but I am experiencing a problem when I add an item in the 'add menu.

I have not actually managed to spawn any npcs onto the map as of yet.

Also the items I take off my paperdoll and put into my backpack disappear.

The final piece of the puzzle is my low end familiarity with the processes involved (this is my first time setting up a server to use). I have enjoyed playing UO online and I would like to try my hand at running an environment where I can play at my own pace. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of questions for you:
#1 What client version are you using (specific version displayed at bottom of login-screen, please)
#2 What tool are you using to remove encryption from the client prior to logging in?

Also - check this thread for some spawn-files that will populate your world with basic NPC vendors, townspeople, animals and monsters.

Thankyou for getting back to me so quickly.

When I was writing it I was thinking to make sure to include those two things but I just plain forgot.

I am using Razor (I changed it to XP Service Pack 3 in properties).

The version of UO I am running is 6.0.1.10 (Patch 72).

I have downloaded the top dfndata.zip although it doesn't seem to populate anything that I can see.

I'm not sure if it is because of something else I have done but I have a recurring error that says:

ERROR: CreateBaseNPC(): Bas script npc5 <NPC not found>
