First let me say that I am using Ubuntu Server 12.04 with the firewall turned on but port 2593 open for anything and I am using client 7.0.10.3.

When I try to sign into my server, I get to the Verification Screen, but then I get this error message about cannot sign in.

I have read the documentation and even Xuri's Guide and did everything it said to do. But I still get the above error.

Any help??

Hmmm. I've had working builds running on Linux for all the most recent versions (though I haven't tested with latest experiemental build), so it _should_ work.

When you attempt to login and get the "cannot sign in" message - do you see anything in the UOX3 console indicating that a login has been attempted? If you do not, that might indicate that you're trying to connect to the wrong IP (and/or port).

Also, if you could describe your setup a bit more in detail that might help. Like, are you trying to connect to the server over a LAN, over the Internet or locally?
