DFNWarrior still availabel

Post by normen »

Hi!
I just wanted to state that DFNWarrior, a quite elaborate tool to edit Item and Npc DFN files is still there.
It doesn't have it's own homepage anymore but is downloadable om my new software homepage here:
http://software.bitwaves.de

I don't run a shard anymore and haven't tested it with current UOX versions but it should still work fine.

If there are any problems, post them in my forum (no reg required) and I will see what I can do.

regards,
normen hansen

The NPC Editor seems to work okay, but the Item-editing part doesn't work equally well - because UOX3's item-dfns are categorized in subfolders, DFNWarrior doesn't seem able to access the dfns in those subfolders, only the ones in the root DFNDATA\ITEMS\-folder.

The subfolders show up in the list along with the dfns in root folder, but when I click "load" nothing happens.

Hey Xuri :)
Alright, this has changed since I last used UOX. I will dig into the code and post an update anwhere soon.
For now, it would be nice if you could copy some item-dfn-files into the root and load/edit them to see if there are other problems.
And please post bugs in my forum, as you did, to keep it together.
Thanks.

regards,
