I have gon through and created and placed all kinds of things on my world but now i want to take them all off and start over. Whats the easiest way to do this...becayse what I have been doing is running around typing 'remove and clicking everything that I come across LOL And I know that there has to be an easier way. Also while Iam here, all the potions in my game do night sight. And the bandages don't work. Thanks for the help. Uox rocks

The easiest way to clear out a world is by simply clearing out the SHARED folder while UOX3 is shut down. That will delete all characters (both player & npc ones) as well as all items. Another way of doing much the same is by using the ingame command 'WIPE ALL - which should remove all NPC characters and items, but leave the player characters intact (as well as any items they might be carrying). There's also 'WIPE NPCS if the ALL command doesn't take care of those as well (can't remember exactly .

The problem with potions and bandages is only a small scripting issue, which I'll fix for the next time I update the downloads - but you can fix it yourself by doing the following:

For bandages, open UOX3\DFNDATA\ITEMS\SKILLS\TOOLS\healing.dfn - and add a new line saying SCRIPT=4000 to all the clean bandages. Either one should do the trick. This will only affect new bandages added to the world though, any bandages already in existance won't automatically start functioning; You'd have to do 'SETSCPTRIG 4000 on them manually for that.

As for potions... they seem pretty messed up to me, but the few I tried at least indicated that the potions had the effects the names/colours of the potions indicated. Or did you mean that all potions have an extra effect by giving night sight? How exactly did you add the potions to your world?

I set up the bandages the way that you said and it gives me the messages You can't heal that, whenever I try and heal myself. As for the potions they all give night sight. But they give the message that they are doing the correct effect Ex. I drink a lesser heal it says you feel better but the hit points don't move up. And I get the night seight effet. Another problem that I am getting is trying to make enemies chase after you if you run away. Know of anykind of fix for that?
