i am new at useing uox3 i got it up and runing but when some one else that is not a GM trys to sell or buy it don't work and i don't know how to fix it

also now monsters that get killed or any one or thing gets kill it will not decay away can anyone help ? what do i do to fix this

Which version of UOX3 are you using?

I added a male blacksmith vendor using 'ADD NPC m_blacksmith, then logged on with a normal player character on a normal player account and bought a longsword from the vendor with no problems. Could you describe the problem with more details, if possible?

As for the corpses not decaying etc - they will not decay if there are no players "nearby". If you're the only character around, and you're playing as a GM character, or a character on the admin account - then the corpses will not decay.

The default decay timer for items is 300 seconds, while the default timer for corpses to decay is 3 times that, i.e. 900 seconds. As per UOX.INI's DECAYTIMER=300 and CORPSEDECAYTIMER=3 settings.

i am useing 0.98-2.8e and when i log on with a normal char and say buy it don't do anything and also if i type .guards that also don't work i don't know what could be the problem i used the 'add command to put the npc's in and i am trying to get the bank also to work if u can help then that will be great and thanks for the decay help

Do you say "buy" or "vendor buy"? Difference And guards will only appear if you say "guards" (without .) when there's actually a crime being commited/a criminal/monster is present.

i tryed vendor buy and buy by it self and it still don't work i was thinking i might be missing some files but i downloaded the all in one download so i don't know but if i was missing a file what could it be cos i type in vendor buy and also i type in bank for the bank and that also dose not work what could be the problem ?

Good question. It works for me here, so not sure what's up. What version of Windows do you have - and in what language? Also - what version of UO are you running? 2D/3D? 2.0.x? 4.0.x?

i have XP home is there something i might have set up incorrect ? cos i am thinking that i am missing commands is there any to download cos this i geting anoying i fixed the start location prob buy at the moment player commands are not working nothen works and i can't even move a boat when someone uses a deed i give them i think i must be missing some thing if u can help fix the prob or tell me where i can download a better one that works then that will be great hope that it can be fixed thanks in advance and i am useing UO 2D
