Multy players does not work
I have read and re read every post on here (mainly my own) that has to do with getting multy players to work. I have read the UOX3 guide. And I still can't get it to work. I have done everything that it has said. I even made a check list and went through it....Five times. And it still doesn't work. I am able to connect with my other pc just fine, buts thats either net. I have no router. I have no firewalls, except windows but its off I checked....Five times. I have had multiple friends try to connect with Uogateway, and still nothing. We all have the most recent updates of UO, and UO gateway. I know that whith dial up my ip changes but does it matter than out of the three of us I am the only one useing Dial up??? It shouldn't matter I would think but Iam out of ideas. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!....Five times!!!
Ill send a message here in a few...Iam not at home right now. Ill start my shard and then give you the time that I started it. I have all the default accounts so admin, admin will work or guest1 guest1. All the people that have tried to connect to me have routers, but that I would think that it wouldn't matter if they are trying to connect to me. Anyway Ill hit you back in just a few. Well, its 2:23 am here. Not sure really what time it is there. Iam going to shut this server off and I will reset it again tommarow. I have dial up so the IP I gave you won't work. Um, name a time that works for you. And if you could, do the math of time diffrence so that I don't have too. Thanks for all of your help.
I live in Norway, and when I write this it's more or less exactly five minutes past 2 pm.
