Hello, I am having trouble finding a Tool that allows me edit static parts of the default map. In particular accurately editing parts of static built-in buildings or removing an entire static building all together.
Thanks.

I believe you could accomplish it using punt's
Worldmaker Suite, but I'm not sure whether the downloads are working - I couldn't find any links to download from on the project site. Alternatively, ask on the mapediting
forums at Ryandor.com if anyone has the files and can host them temporarily for you to download.

mulpatcher, mulpatcher is nice IMO, you can edit map and statics in it, and you have the UO 2d vision of the world (the isometric vision), so you can edit with a good vision of the world. it's very nice.
there is muleditor too, you can edit map/static with the same isometric vision of the uo 2d client (like in mulpatcher too)
keep in mind that if you'll use mulpatcher, save with some small time space, because it can crash (people say that it can crash anytime), if you'll use mulpatcher, you are able to edit A LOT more .mul files, like anims, arts, gumps, etc.
but both are good static editors.
