EverQuest 2

For those who may not have noticed, Everquest 2 has been released. I was not a fan of EverQuest 1, and never could get caught up with it, even though I bought many of the expansions.
However, EverQuest 2 for me, addressed most of the issuses, and has added alot. You can take a very "quest" oriented life, and never role play, or you can role play to the extreme.
They have upped the "crafting" options tremendously, so now one can truely be an artisian (although no plaer run community). and if you have enough money, you can buy a nice house in town. Otherwise, it is the slum of a flat that the refugess get (and a 5 silver/week upkeep fee).
The game is essentially two parts, the first where you are "learning", and off on an island with your other refugess, until you have learned enough, that you qualify for passage to the cities. Once there, the game open's up.
I am impressed. I haven't been interested in playing RPGs in several years, yet this game I am hooked (at least for now).
