[CUSTOM ANIMATIONS] How-to-Add

Tools and others Needed:
UOFIDDLE: http://uofiddler.polserver.com/
Ultima Online Game http://www.uo.com
Animation Websites: http://www.uo-pixel.de/

So you should have all those stuff needed to add new Animations.

Step 1. Open UO fiddle.

Step 4. Choose a Animation File to Edit.

There is H, L, P = High, Low. Personal.

High or H Definition
This means MONSTER in Mobtype.txt in your client folder.

Low or L Definition
This means ANIMAL in your Mobtype.txt in your client folder.

Personal or P Definition
This means EQUIPMENT in your Mobtype.txt in your client folder.

You see there is 202 (-1)
Do not worry about the -1 we will assign a number to it after adding animation.

Step 5. Right Click the 202 (-1)

Step 6. Click Import from .vd
Select the .vd file you downloaded from that website.
Also make sure its a L and not H, it will let you know if you try to put a H in L spot.

Step 7. Saving the animation after importing it

Step 8. Replacing Anima Files in UO folder with New Anima files
Now go to where you have your uofiddle directory set up to save files too.
Take that anim5.mul and idx file and replace your current UO one.

Step 9. Assigning number to new Animation
open your Bodyconv.def in your ultima online folder.

scroll down to
1071 -1 -1 -1 421 # VirtueBane

Break down each line
First Number is the number your want your animation to be. This has to be a Un used number.
We will use number 1072 as it is not used by anything else in the file.

second number -1 is anim2
third number -1 is anim3
fourth number -1 is anim4
Fifth Number 421 is anim5

Under that lets add your new animation
1072 -1 -1 -1 202 #

As you can see we re using anim5 so we put the 202 in the 5 spot and we put our number 1072 in the first location.

Now Save that file.

This will take that -1 you seen in the animation editor and give it a number 1072 now.

This Number is also you in-game npc ID

Step 10. Find Mobtypes.txt in your Ultima Online Folder.
Open it up and lets add your new assigned animation number 1072.

So this is where the H, L , P come in and why I explained what they mean.

If you picked H for your Animation then you would make it look like this.

1072 MONSTER 0

if you picked L for your Animation then you would make it look like this.

1072 ANIMAL 0

if you picked P as your Animation then you would make it look like this.

1072 EQUIPMENT 0.

If your Animation is not showing up for you because you labeled in wrong in the mobtypes.txt

Always Make sure H is MONSTER and L is ANIMAL and P is EQUIPMENT.
