I am having at least one issue similar to some other posters. I am pretty sure it has something to do with my uox3 installation / config.
Symptoms:
1. Any container (even ones with items inside) does not show any of the items inside when opened. It is as if they are invisible or missing.
2. If I open my backpack and place ore inside, the ore dissapears and I hear the sound of it being added, however my backpack's item count and weight does not change.
3. If I try to use the GM menu to add any item I can take possibly 2 - 3 steps before my character can no longer move. If I then doubleclick to move somewhere I get a pathfinding! message in the client. Disconnecting and re-connecting allows me to move again but there item is not created.
4. If I use my client to connect to another server (for example "UOGamers: Hybrid" listed in ConnectUO) the inventory works perfectly. Which is why I think its something with my UOX3 install and not my client.
Installation methods of UOX3 tried:
1a. Downloaded and extracted the UOX3 All In One package
1b. Configured the INI and accounts (server launched fine)
2a. Downloaded and extracted Stranf's World Starter Kit
2b. Extracted / Copied onto the original UOX3 installation overwriting everything
2c. Re-configured the INI and accounts (server launched fine and took longer to load stuff)
3a. Extracted Stanf's WSK to it's own directory.
3b. Renamed the original (as I had completely removed and re-installed the original All In One vanilla) to UOX3-Original
3c. Renamed the Stranf's install to UOX3 and then set up the INI and Accounts file.
Environment Variables: (Not sure if these matter but figured I would post them anyways)
1. Downloaded UO client from http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/uo/setup-1.46.0.3.exe
2. Installed to default directory (due to ConnectUO crashing when loading it previously which seemed o correct after a reboot) C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2D Client
3. Server has been configured to work both on local loopback IP and my private LAN IP. Both have the same issue.
4. I am using ConnectUO and not using Razor.
5. I have not loaded the UO client to install any patches as I read somewhere that would break it from connecting to UOX3 but again, my client works fine on other peoples public servers though I have no idea what they are using to emulate...
If this is indeed a client / emulator compatibility issue I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction of a UO client I can use.
