Ok got the emu to work, now I have run into another problem. Due to memory issues if I start the emulator first the client hasnt got enough memory to launch, but if I launch the client first the emulator can't read the maps properly. I tried making a copy of the map data files in a seperate folder and pointing the emu to use them but it still fails to read certain maps. Is there a way to either force the emu to use different memory, read the maps differently or will I simply have to try adding more physical memory to the PC.

The client is a memory hog, however unfortunately so is UOX, currently.
Because of the nature of a sever, though, it will eventually run out of memory on a system with a small amount of RAM. Your best bet is to run the client on a different machine than the server, alternatively, if you don't need all the maps try removing all but the first map entry (and change uox.ini mapcount to 1). If that doesn't work, however, then adding more physical memory is your only solution.
