[FIXED] NAME & NAME2 tags in script only hold 28 chars m

Post by Xuri »

Currently the NAME (and, I guess, NAME2) tags cannot hold strings longer than 28 characters - they have to be longer though. That's hardly long enough for standard item names - much less some of the inventive names OSI have given their inns/taverns and the like.

Object name packets require that the name is less than 30 bytes. However, I"m guessing you are talking about longer descriptions when clicking on things. Try setting the description property, that may show up. Other built names (like number of charges left) aren't part of the object name either, only what is displayed.

I bumped it up to 50 chars by default, we will see if it functions properly....
