Animation while NPC is mounting on animal

Post by Blue Dragon »

Previously I reported this bug, see the photo below.

Testing with the same NPC while in this image above and others also. Apparently the problem was corrected, however this NPC here yet of this problem.

It would be a problem related to weapon "lance/spear"? Or maybe the "ridgeback"?

I believe that the picture is self-explanatory.

Could you post the bodyIDs for the NPCs you're putting on mounts, please? Unless they are recognized by UOX3 as "human" characters, they won't play the mounted combat animations. The GM Body skin and the Savages are examples of this. I've added those to the list of "humans" in the code now, but if you're using a different model that should also be recognized as human, I need to know :)

The id's are: 183, 184, 185, 186.

Are the same id's as the topic of the dragon slayer, in case of savages.

Fixed on CVS and in UOX3 0.99.1.

The problem here was that Savages were not defined as "Human" in the source, and would try to play "creature"-animations instead of the standard human animations. I moved the definition of what is "human" or not from source-code and out into creatures.dfn; UOX3 should now treat anything with a HUMAN dfn tag (used similarly to the ANIMAL tag) as if they were regular male/female humans.

Xuri, unfortunately now the problem worse = (
In the savage continue the same way, now all human NPCs, including me (players) are getting the same problem that was just before the savage.

Ahh, we have to put tag "HUMAN" in npcs? If yes, do not put o.o
But in the case of player, what would be?

Normal players will get the "HUMAN" tag from creatures.dfn like any other character :) Just add that tag to the following creature-sections:
human male, human female, elf male, elf female, gargoyle male, gargoyle female, GM body, savage male (x3), savage female (x3)
