While fishing with my *enhanced* Grandmaster fisherman, I had the good fortune to pull up a gem, some flotsam and a weapon. Unfortunatly these things didn't arrive into my bag. Probably a simple thing to fix but an important one.

Actually it was not the issue I originally thought it was.
The problem is the itemlists for fishing in /items/itemlists/fishinglist.dfn only contain fish ID's.

That file is very nice for quickly setting up various "treasures" that can be fished up, btw

I haven't had time to look at the file.
Is it just a list where it picks things equally at random? Or can it be adjusted by skill?
IE: only the magic sword can be fished up by a GM fisherman, etc.

You can make things excessively unlikely by listing generic items multiple times in the list and unique items only once.

Will include an updated fishinglists.dfn to the CVS on my next commit. I've added some paintings, gems, a few weapons, some old boots and broken furniture in the correct (according to system messages you get when fishing) categories.
