AR rating in status gump doesn't work

For some reason, the AR rating (or "Physical Resistance" as it calls it) doesn't show the total armor rating of the armor your character is wearing. By default, with nothing equipped, it shows "2". With a full plate set, it shows 6. And I've tested plenty of armor, and it's all the same, though not much of it ever comes as high as "6".

I don't know if this is a client issue only, or if UOX3 is miscalculating the AR ratings somehow.

Almost certain this is a client issue. They do funky stuff with that packet now. Were we to switch off the AoS features, I'm sure you'd see more like the AR you're used to.

Yeah, I still want to customize a way to selectively enable/disable features (obviously some features are grouped by the client, and thus would be all-or-nothing).

Someday..... :)

*bump* :P

Do we really need this to be a enable/disable feature though? Couldn't we have support for all these variables in the code, read them from the DFNs if present and display them even if we don't necessarily use them?

Is there anyway to see what UOx3 sees as our AR value?

Can we create a js script that if we says 'ar, it returns the ar value of the target?

I just hope my PC really isn't stuck at 2!

Well, a big chunk of this problem is armor values are not entirely correct in the item dfn's. For instance, plate legs have a DEF value of 4!

I've updated the values a bit, but will need to see if I still happen to have an old UO guidebook (pre-AOS) to get exact values.
