lets have ideas on uox3 housing improvement.

i think any one that has ideas on how to improve on uox3 housing or osi style housing should post replys here please lets make this thread for uox3 houseing :)

Here is my top ideas
House.dfn needs to be serpert from boats and house addons.

Houses should beable to define LOCKDOWNS and SECURES in house.dfn

In uox3.ini we should have a house rule section

[house rules]
T2ASTYLE= 0/1 on or off this would be the t2a rule set for houses
AOSSTYLE= 0/1 on or off this would be the aos rule set for houses
HOUSEKEYNEWBIE= 0/1 on or off this would be so you can make keys be newbie or not newbie
HOUSECUSTOMIZE= 0/1 on or off this so if we want to just use old style houses with no customizing menu or if its turned on we would want to make houses customizable. The rule sets for each era shouldnt effect this option. so even if we had t2a style we should still beable to use housecustmizing.
HOUSEBANCOMMAND= 0/1 on or off So if we don't want players baning things form houses we should beable to turn this command on and off.
LOCKPICKABLEDOORS= 0/1 this so we can make front doors lockpickable by turning it on or off. now LOCKPICKDOOR=500 this would need added to the house.dfn to define how much skill would take to lockpick door.
