I do a world save then server shut down and nothing saves

ok i did a world save then did the server shut down from GM menu then closed down UOX3 with the X button. then turned everything back on and nothing was saved. So then i world saved server shutdown then * in the UOX3 window and command for quit then when i turned everything back on still nothing saved. thank you for anyhelp

i was just screwing around with the GM menu clothing my guy and the save world broadcast would come up time to time then ... when one came up once the client just crashed not sure what or why but the game just did a world save then it crashed.. thank you for anything you can tell me.
oh also i downloaded UO gold from fileplanet and its been updated by the offical UO site.. but the crash orccured on my offline client. ok thanks again

Hm. Try entering a full file-path to your SHARED directory in UOX.INI. So, instead of
SHAREDDIRECTORY=./shared/
you use
SHAREDDIRECTORY=c:/uox3/shared/ (or wherever you have UOX3 on your harddrive).
