UOX3 Account Manager (v0.4 - Updated May 6th, 2007)

Post by giwo »

Account Manager is a utility built specifically for UOX3 to help shard admins easily add, remove, and manipulate Accounts entries from Accounts.adm

Current Version: v0.4 Changelog:

Code: Select all

05/06/2007 - giwo (v.04)
Added support for orphans.adm, allowing the user to re-associate orphan characters.
Added a "Browse" button for the Account Subfolder path.

05/30/2006 - giwo (v.03)
Fixed an issue causing a blocked slot to automatically be unblocked.
Fixed an issue causing the character slot editor not to refresh when loading an empty accounts directory.
Improved error handling for accounts over 65535 (UOX3's current logical limit for account numbering).

04/11/2006 - giwo (v0.2)
Added some stats to count number of accounts, banned accounts, and players.
Added an error message dialog when attempting to save an empty Accounts.adm.
Modified the Account name-change handling to automatically update the listentry for the account.
Modified Account Number handling to eventually allow numbers larger than 65535.
Placed a manual limit of 65535 so as not to cause invalid account numbers to be passed to UOX3.
Added an option to re-number the accounts list sequentially
(note that it will NOT modify account 0).
Fixed a minor issue with tab-selection ordering.
Changed behaviour of adding new accounts to default name/pass to guest#/guest#
(note that Account 0 will default to admin/admin).
Added a Warning dialog to inform user when invalid accounts were not saved.
Fixed a bug when attempting to remove Account 0.

04/10/2006 - giwo (v0.1 Initial Release)
Current Featureset:
Loads a current Accounts.adm file, listing account entries and characters attached to each account.
Allows easy addition, removal, and modifications of all data contained in Accounts.adm, including account flags.
Saves Accounts.adm in a format readable by UOX3.

Thanks.

Would you be able to either write the full text here or convert it to English?
I'm not sure what language that is :)

Hmm.

I downloaded and ran the program w/o issues.

Are you running it from within the zip file or did you extract the two files to a seperate folder?

What version of windows and is it a US based version or a European (with the Media player and such ghanked out)?

What version of .Net do you have installed? Any .Net service packs?

I think this program was based on C# and probably under .Net 1.x.
Try downloading .Net 1.x latest redistributable and see if that takes care of it.

What may be the problem is in the source code the language may be set to english/US as opposed to system default, which in turn could cause that problem!
