Not sure why this happens - if you notice it happening again and can provide any information on what could be the cause, that would be extremely helpful.

A couple of things you can try to fix it:
* 'KILL PACK on your character, then 'ADDPACK on your character to add a new, empty backpack.
* Die and resurrect, either by fighting a monster or by using the 'KILL CHAR command followed by either 'RESURRECT or a visit to an NPC healer.

If neither of those work, you can shut down UOX3 then perform a windows search in the UOX3/SHARED folder, looking for a file that contains your character's name. Open that file in, say, WordPad - search for your character entry and manually edit the value of the WEIGHT tag to 0.

omg why is vista's search so f'ing useless? anyway i manually searched all the shared files and found my guy, his weight was set to 1300 for some reason?

so i edited it manually and hes still getting fatigued entirely to fast, heres my take on it:

sometime after t2a they added some gay thing where you could take extra stealth steps at a cost of your stamina. maybe this has something to do with it? like its treating my guy like hes stealthed or something

I'm stumped man i wanted to try my shard from a players perspective but it wont be possible like this, you don't have this problem? maybe i should reinstall or something

i check the file again, it set his weight back to 1300 again

I THINK I GOT IT.... he was wearing some items totaling 13 weight, somewhere it must be reading that as 1300. maybe an integer where a decimal should be or something?

update: so i looked through items dfn, it seems EVERY items weight is totaled in the hundreds where it should only be a couple. theres gotta be a better way to fix this...

How was the problem fixed?

The WEIGHT=1300 thing actually translates to "13.00". A cutlass has "WEIGHT=800" in the DFN but will show up as 8.00 extra weight in your status window.

Look at the bright side, with all the DFN values changed, his character could carry tons of ore in his pack, and hundreds of breastplates.

Perfect for a miner. :)

I wonder if it would be easier for him to scale his shard by setting the weight per strength value lower instead of rescaling every DFN?
