One for stranf to answer, I guess
Not sure how up-to-date his World Starter Kit is nowadays.
For a "quick-start" with the default UOX3, grab the latest Experimental Build, the Community-made spawn.dfn (for monsters) and the Default UOX3 Worldfiles (basic decorations, doors, signs, etc). These are just meant as a basic "get started"-thing, though - the rest is up to you, basically. This method requires manual setup of all extra scripts and add-ons though, compared to Stranf's package (which does that for you).

Another question. How do people register accounts to begin play.
For example, on the T2a player run shard, people create account by just typing in an unused username and a password at the login screen and they are good to go. Is there any field or file that can be edited in uo3x to enable similar functionality?
oh, and do all the dfn files get extracted into the /shared folder?

I must be doing something wrong. I extracted the spawn.dfn into the dfn data folder and the world builder into the shared folder. I see doors, signs, etc...But no NPCs.Xuri wrote:One for stranf to answer, I guessNot sure how up-to-date his World Starter Kit is nowadays.
