If you're using Razor as the encryption-removal tool of choice, along with the standard UO client, there's a chance you might experience performance issues and/or random client freezes if you don't run Razor in compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 2/3, or with administrator privileges.
To run it in compatibility mode, right click on Razor.exe, choose Properties, then select the Compatibility tab. There, enable the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select either Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Alternatively - or additionally - you can also enable the checkbox that says "Run this program as an administrator".
If you encounter any client freezing issues, try either or both of the above options.
