Poly 0x20 = client crash

Post by grimalden »

In the 2d client, poly 0x20 (0x0020) crashes the client. Which is odd because it's the 2d woman.

Verified, but strange - still. Can't remember the client crashing on 0x20 before. :|

it's not the 2D woman though - that's 0x0191, while the man is 0x0190.

Example from insideUO's animation-section (right click -> properties on a character):
Model Number: 400 (0x190)
..which is the same as 0x0190, or a male human character.

This is happening for me as well, though I'm not sure this is a bug with UOX3.

It's an odd sort of body ID, and I can't see why it would be a UOX3 issue, to be honest. Probably just need to alter the 'poly command to protect against such things, build up an exceptions list.

It's a "recent" issue though, I can remember going through all IDs from 0x1 and up to whatever number the clothes start at, without neither UOX3 nor the client crashing. That was years ago though ;P
