Need a good replacement for Notepad to use when scripting? Look no further!

There are numerous text-editors out there *points vaguely at the Internet*, and most of them can do a decent job of replacing Notepad as your default lightweight text-editor. Why replace notepad in the first place, you say? Keyword-highlighting, support for larger files, tabbed windows and spell-checkers are just some of the keywords.

When it comes to Javascripting for UOX3, I've found the keyword-highlighting for Java/Javascript especially useful, as it makes it that much easier to spot any disparities in the scripts. And tabbed windows allow you to have open and switch between multiple scriptfiles at the same time without cluttering your taskbar.

Some good notepad-alternatives:
Sublime Text - Shareware text and source code editor available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Notepad++ - Free (“free speech” + “free beer”) source code editor and Notepad replacement. Windows only.

Just as a side note. Not sure if you heard of WinSyntax? It's an old school program for editing files. I use it for PHP and Java. It works great!

It does have support for PHP, Java, Javacript, C/C++, Perl, and HTML, that I know of. It also has text highlighting, and multiple files can be open, all files are placed on their own tab. I don't think anyone else is hosting the file but me. The people that made it, no longer exist. I'm working on one now that will work with any language that someone wants, so long as they don't mind typing up the define file that will contain all the keywords.

WinSyntax 2.0 Download: http://www.shadowbranch.com/modules.php ... load&cid=7
