[DEAD] Commands not working?

k, I'm logged in on my server and I type `add, `ADD whatever. I had the window pop up once, hasnt came back. I restarted my game - havent restarted the server yet. Any suggestions?

also another question - is there an easier way of getting to my server from another computer aside from searching through the pubs... if its even listed in the pubs, if they arent by default (it says offline) how may i go about doing this and if possible can i keep it between just a few friends on my local lan &/or outside of my local lan O_O

phew -_-; sorry for all that, but if i could get any answers I'm excited to start messing around with all this ^_^

Did you login with a character from the ADMIN account in accounts.adm, the one which has a line sayng FLAGS=0x8000? (Note: Remember to change the username & password for this account if you go public)

As for UOGateway - which I assume you meant - you can add your server on the "My Servers" list by clicking "New local server". Enter your shard's name, and the IP & PORT, and save it. Tell your friends to do the same.

If you want the server run on both your LAN and on the internet, enter two entries in the [play server list] like this:

SERVERLIST=LAN Server,192.168.1.1,2593
}

.. then tell your LAN friends to connect to the LAN IP, and your online friends to connect to your online IP ;P
