soon as i loged in i was in a party?

is this a feature or bug.

What do you mean by "in a party"? Did you log in and find yourself grouped with other characters, seeing their healthbars? Or is there some indication that you're in a party?

UOX3 doesn't even have support for parties at the moment

well soon as i created a new char ,my char

had the health bar look like he was in a party and i opened the party gump thing on paper doll and his name was on list ??

Maybe you are always in a party by yourself by default with that client?

I've seen this one myself a few times, haven't been able to figure out what's causing it though. Sometimes my characters have the "party status health bar" for no apparent (to me) reason.

I'm guessing character serial 0x0 was the culprit. I had several characters on my server just now, and of all of them, only the character with serial 0x0 appeared with the party healthbar.

This should be fixed in CVS, seeing as giwo changed the first available serial from 0x0 to 0x1. (won't be fixed for any existing characters with serial 0x0 though).
