I am using UOX3 0.98-3.1f and UO 2D Client 5.0.1f.
- Blacksmithing Skill does not work. I use the Smith's Hammer, I select ore, then it return "You cannot repair that".
- Stealing Skill does not work and crashes client.
- Inscription Skill does not work. When using, it return "You have insufficient resources on hand to do that".
- Boats does not work and crashes client and server.
- In add menu, 'Skill/Add/Tools/Inscription/a blank deed' does not work.
- Default item names are showed instead of specified names.
- Player can open containers through closed door.
- In some houses (tower...), 'eject' function eject the player too far away. It would be probably better to eject the player in front of the door, instead of the right corner of the house. Actually, a player can use the 'eject' function to teleport him to another player's house and can be stuck if he hasn't the teleport spell (I successfully tried from a tower to a small house positioned near the right corner). Yes anybody with that spell can teleport him to an house without roof, but it is a gameplay feature.

Did you melt the ore into ingots first, by double-clicking the ore and targeting a forge? Note that smithing with colored ingots won't work yet, since there are currently no crafting DFN files for those! (the MAKEMENU tags in skills.dfn point to nonexisting makemenus - haven't been made yet!).

The only crash I could reproduce on stealing was when doing a random steal on a character with an empty pack.
Regardless, I did fix that crash
the problems with Boats have been around for a while now (at very least since the 5.0.x clients). After much testing and packet comparisons, I still am not sure what's causing the issue.

hey, xuri? Is it hard to temporarly link the colored ingots to the regular iron ingot menu system? (IE, even though ingots are colored they will be treated as standard iron ingots)
It's kind of sad when your expert miners have to spend time converting shadow iron into plates and cups with tinkering while apprentice miners are having a good 'ol time using standard ingots to create plate armor.

I actually found that line, and indeed switched the values to 1. My ores now all make common colored items, which is a satisfactory fix for now.

7) Verified, containers will not be openable from outside of a house in the next release.
8) This happens because we have to calculate the multi area, which includes the tops of towers, and put them on the edge of that area. Notably on OSI I'm mostly sure that you cannot place a house under a towers "wings". If I can get confirmation this is not the case, I will work on fixing the issue.
