I get the following message on the console:
"CheckAI() Error npc a bear(0x37) has invalid AI type 6"
I believe the cougar was giving me this problem before as well...

For that AI type you need the current CVS version of UOX3, as it is new.Kiff wrote:I get the following message on the console:

Hey, Kiff?
Sounds like you are using my worldfile....
I assume the AI6 is animal hunger. When the animals get too hungry they will attack anything that moves. Since my game was saved on a current CVS version, all of the animals would have that AI.
Like Grimson said, I will highly recommed a CVS update.

Be sure to backup your files though!

Thanks, I updated to the new CVS which seems pretty nifty
. I'm not using your world file (although I would for sure if I was looking for a fully spawned shard) but I'm spawning by hand Bucs den. It's sort of a fun idea I think. Players start with a pickaxe and some tinkerers tools. The ability to make things and gains are increased to make it slightly easier. But they have to survive on the island only with what they make. No NPC's no resurrection (although I'll probably do something like once a week ressing once I actually start). Hopefully it will be pretty hardcore. If you want to fight, you better have a tailor and blacksmith because otherwise you won't have aids or a weapon
(except I found out pick axes can use swords). Anyhow, we'll see how that goes... time will tell.
