[FIXED] Feeding pets doesn't seem to work

Here we stuff all the bugs we've managed to squash/squish/squelch.

Feeding pets doesn't seem to work

Post by Xuri »

When dragging and dropping for instance an apple over a horse (which has FOOD=horse defined in NPC.DFN, and FOODLIST HORSE has a pointer to FOODLIST FRUIT through FOOD=fruit), it just bounces back to the backpack with no further message.

Either the mount is full (which the pet owner should be notified of when attempting to feed it), or it simply doesn't work.

To link to another FOODLIST you should use the "FOODLIST=" tag, so "FOODLIST=fruit" for your example.

Doh. Fixed, and up'ed to CVS.

But there's still no message given when the pet is fed, nor when it is fully fed and accepts no more food =)

"The pet accepts your food and happily eats it."

and

"The pet is already stuffed. It can't eat more."

Works like a charm :)
