At the moment, the IRC server (Freenode) can be reached at the following address: irc.freenode.org
Channel-name: #uox3
It might seem a bit empty, but if everyone who joins actually stick around for a little while instead of leaving because there's no one else there, the "population" will grow =)
I'll try to stay in there as much as I can.

Just a shameless bump to divert get people's attention to this thread
The IRC Channel is getting more visitors than in a while, and is currently frequented by myself, xir, Fish, Shadowbranch and punt - plus the occasional straggler. I'd love to see other people there as well though; the more the merrier! So if you have the time for it, please stop by the #uox3 channel on irc.freenode.org.
You don't have to talk, you don't have to even be present - idling AFK in the channel is perfectly okay.
I'd just like to again attract some attention to our IRC channel, which is frequented frequently (teehee) by both developers and users. Again, no requirements for staying in the channel, if you want to sit quitely in a corner and just watch, that's allowed - but of course I'd prefer it if people said something every once in a while
Necro! I'm going to start idling in #uox3 on IRC from now on as often as I can, so if anyone has any questions concerning UOX3, comments about my bad hairstyle, or just feel like idling in there along with me so I don't feel so lonely , then point your IRC-clients toward irc.freenode.net and join me!
Alternatively to an external IRC client, you click the link called IRC-Chat on the top-menu on this forum to use a java-based IRC-applet within your browser to go there.
I was just thinking the other day, maybe I should go change the location set in my profile since 2007....
I'm touch and go now because I'm moving at the end of the month, but after that, maybe I'll join you for some good old-fashioned idling lol. I expect even my quiet mornings will disappear for a while after a couple more weeks.
I guess I should mention all of this anyway, so you won't think UOX3's current sole play-tester got lured off by his Steam library so soon.
