GMs cannot tell if their character is invulnerable or not

Post by Xuri »

GM players cannot tell if their own character is invulnerable or not, since there is no longer a [invulnerable] tag behind the names of invulnerable characters (such a tag showing up for GM characters only would be nice..), and names of invulnerable characters show up as yellow - the same color as shows for the name of any character targeting himself.

Did that make any sense? =P

That's as it should be then. But GM characters in particular ALWAYS highlight yellow in UOX3 when they target/click on themselves - so without an [invulnerable] tag behind the name or a different default highlihght color it's kind of hard to tell.

GM's should highlight BLUE if non-invul so i guess that's a fault :P

EM's do it usually on official servers, they will go "non-invul" and drop back to blue, usually though it's because they are about to polymorph into some sort of "story" character, etc.

What client are you using, Xuri?

I can't seem to get my own name to display, at least not in the same form it does for everyone else.

Also, at least when I see other invul characters, (invulnerable) appears at the end of their name.

At the moment the only fully patched client I have is on my laptop, which has the AoS-client - version 5.0.8.0 (patch 86).

Also now that you mentioned it... the name for my own character does not always show when I mouse-over/click on it. ;|
