Uox3 dry spell......

For everything not directly related to UOX3; Such as official UO, other emus, and everyday chatter about stuff. And whatnot.

Uox3 dry spell......

Post by stranf »

Uh oh....everyone is getting busy with real life (as they should) and it seem Uox3 is heading into another dry spell.

It's kind of sad when "stranf" posts are the most-recent in every category. I'm not really proud of that fact.

The good news is, is that Uox3 is really stable now. Impressivly so. Kudos to the dev. team.. Uox3 has evolved enourmously in the few short years that I have been involved.

I'm just wondering if the lack of activity now is due to work/school or a lack of interest on the DEV crew part because most of the "interesting" aspects of Uox3 are already coded. If it is the latter, perhaphs we could help spark some interest by coming up with some suggestions....

Unfortunately the PC I had set up for UOX3 fun has decided it wants to overheat a lot and the hard drive crashed, screwing up the registry.

I've ordered a watercooling unit to try to fix it up. :)

Oh no, that dosen't sound fun. I hope you get it working again.

Is that data still recoverable on the drive?

Drive is fine. I just get lock ups when I run anything. Could just be the graphics card overheating since I don't have any way to monitor it.

Should have the cooling system tomorrow.. I guess I could roll UOX3 over to linux since I started building a machine last night. :o
