yes it s 0.98-4.0
and as far as razor i have it set to
2d client auto detect
X patch client encryption although i tried with that off too
[ ] use osi encryption
uo data direction is on auto detect
and client is 6.0.12.3
thats the only thing i can think that might be wrong... at this point
[play server list]
{
SERVERLIST=Default UOX3 Server,127.0.0.1,2593
}

ok I downloaded stanfis world and i had it working at one time but realized my client wasnt at the latest patch. After I patched I ran uox3 and everything loaded ok with no errors but when I try to log in it gets to verifing and doesn't do anything. If I go back to look at uox3 i see checkconsole thread has started and then it says loginclient 0 disconnected. Like I said had it working at one time until i updated patch what did I do wrong?
sschmaud,
Xuri is right, my world file is a bit dated (but should still work).
The easiest way to add my worldfile content to a new UOX3 version is to:
1) Download and expand my worldfile.
2) Download the new version of UOx3
3) Find uox3.exe and js32.dll inside the .zip of the new uox3 version and copy those into my world file. You should be prompted to overwrite the existing files. Select "yes" This essentially "updates" your UOx3 server.

Scroll near the bottom and I give a slight tutorial on how to install scripts. It is pretty straight forward (yet slightly cumbersome) if you have programming experience. If you don't, then it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out what the heck is going on.
To put it in normal speak, you have to "register" the script with a number inside the file JSEfileassociations.scp (or something like that).
The .scp files are loaded when UOx3 begins and tells UOx3 how many scripts you have and where they are. When you debug scripts in Uox3, you have to edit these files and reload them (which can be a pain on a slower computer!!)
It's fairly easy once you get the hang of it (so try my tutorial), but you can see why I offered my world-file as an "ALL in ONE" package, as it is time consuming to load multiple scripts!!!
----------
Edit: My tutorial is written to help someone add a script which deals with GM commands. Uox3 reads scripts from certain categories. You will need to install the script under the category you think it applies (it's pretty straight forward how it is laid out).
Also, if you enjoy my worldfile, I have an excel spreadsheet which easily lists out how to use my custom scripts (traps, locks, magic fountains, etc) which are complex enough to easily forget how to set them up. It also contains % of success charts to calculate how difficult a trap would be to disarm with a certain skill, etc.
It lists all of the weapons on my shard and their expected damage/second rates, etc. My shard is a tad more difficult for newbies than original, and the weapons have been rebalanced for quicker more deadly combat (my players prefer this over the "let's go cook pizza while we hit the dragon" OSI approach).
If you'd like to see this spreadsheet, boardmail me your email address. I plan on including it in the newest version of my worldfile (maybe it is already there?) As soon as I get more custom scripts for a new version!!
