The sky is falling! Or not..

Code: Select all

SpawnNPC( "giantblackwidow", rndx, rndy, rndz, socket.worldnumber );
If rndz=100, the giantblackwidow will not fall unless it begins to move.

It may be the case using ADD NPC or other methods..

Maybe a check for for z level when a item/npc is spawned? (Assuming there isn't, I dunno, just guessing)

Hm. As far as I know, there is no actual gravity in the game, so if you teleport a player or NPC 20 Z up in the air, then yes, he'll stay there until he moves. No idea how hard it would be to add support for gravity in the game, or if it'd even be possible without using some sort of hack where you teleport the character/object gradually to the ground.

Isn't there a javascript command/function to move an npc around? You could do that and then the game would do the rest (fall...AUGH)
